Is the Gerry Lane Chevrolet Collision Center a DRP?
We're proud to state that the Gerry Lane Chevrolet Collision Center is not a Direct Repair shop. Some other collision repair shops are DRP (direct repair) as part of an agreement with insurance companies, which means that insurance companies will send vehicles to their shops so long as they agree to do exactly what the insurance companies ask them to do. This may entail the use of inferior/aftermarket replacement parts, simply "repairing" a part that actually should be replaced, etc. At the Gerry Lane Chevrolet Collision Center, we don't have any DRP agreements with any insurance company. We believe that, in order to repair a vehicle properly, we can't let anyone else (especially insurance companies) dictate to us how each repair must be performed. We do what's in the best interest of our customers because, for us, the customer always come first.
